WHEN I GROW UP
Veterinary Medicine
I've been working in the veterinary field since mid 2013. I love every minute of it, from the puppy visits to saying goodbye to a lifelong patient. I first started at Torrey Pines Animal Hospital with a six-week internship that my high school had required. After my internship was over, I was offered a permanent position and I've been there ever since. The crew is fantastic, and I have learned so much. I started out as kennel assistant, and I've worked my way up to anesthesia monitoring and catheter placements. I ultimately want to get my DVM and practice medicine, but I'm happy at my level for the meantime.

I have a fondness for Great Danes. They have so many health concerns that I wouldn't want to own one, but they are absolutely gorgeous.
